On the way back from church yesterday afternoon, I was telling the girls about the meaning of Easter and the events that happened before Easter became Easter. (Which I will tell you is a lot harder trying to explain it in little children's terms than I thought it would be whenever we started the talk) I was telling the girls how Jesus was perfect and that no one else is perfect, we make mistakes, but that He didn't. How some people didn't like Jesus because of that and that some people started doing some bad things to Jesus. How Jesus ended up on the cross and died, but wasn't there long and was put into a tomb, kind of like a cave with a big rock in front. About the Angel and about those that went into the tomb and saw that Jesus was gone! Then I tried to explain that He rose and didn't die like we would have, He came back for a little while, whenever it was time for Him to leave again, He went up into the sky to Heaven....this is where the curiosity and wonderful conversation began with the girls.
Kristi: "Where did Jesus go into the sky?"
Me: "Welll.... *pause* when Jesus went up into the sky, it is almost like He was flying. He just started floating up towards those clouds up there and up to Heaven. He is up there with God now!"
Kristi: "Did he fly with wings or a plane?"
Me: "Umm.. *giggled a second* well with neither one really. He didn't need those, but He was just able to float up to Heaven to be with God."
Kristi: "and a long time ago, He came back down here and He was with me! He talked to me and gave me hugs and was with me all the time, when I was a little girl. I'm a big girl now, that was when I was little."
Me: "Really?" *With a question in my proud tone and a big smile on my face*
Kristi: "Yeah! He did!"
Me: *Heart Melts.....*
Just to think about the thought that Jesus really could be here showing Himself to our kids, showing them how to enjoy life, being with them when they are scared, talking and hugging them (Yes I know that He is always with us, but for her to acknowledge that Jesus was with her, story or not) it is just an amazingly relieving feeling to think about. That as we grow, we can long to be with God through our Prayers, worships, and songs, but to know that He may show Himself to innocence, to our Precious Blessings to comfort them and be with them, showing them to always be as children, to enjoy life with everything that it can be! Amazing!
Matthew 18:3 (King James Version)
"3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

She is definitely MY daughter!
FUNNY: {She is definitely MY daughter}
Before I begin, let me remind you, Kristi wakes up talking 90 to nothing and sometimes her eyes aren't even quite open yet.
Early yesterday morning, Sunday, Kristi and I were standing near the kitchen table getting breakfast ready. She had just gotten up, of course talking as soon as she entered the kitchen, and headed straight over to see what I was doing...
Her conversation: (and before you start reading, read Kristi-like, fast, no breaths, and with exciting dramatic expressions)
"Mom, what is that! *points to biscuit can* What are those! *points to biscuits on pan* OOOoo biscuits! I love those! What is that over there?"
Me: *smirks at her talkative little self* "It is Jelly"
Kristi: "OOooo jelly, I love that too! *she turns to the tub of Easter items...YES the tub* Hey Mr. Box! How are you today? I am Kristi! This is my mommy and she is making biscuits!
Me: "........ wow..." LOL *Thinks: I knew my mom used to say that I talked a lot, but to a TUB... LOL Hmm. *
Kristi: "What mommy, why do you say Wow?"
LOLOL! Normal mornings for us, no comment, haha!

The girls new bed!
The girls were outgrowing their toddler beds and were needing an upgrade. Daniel and I found this awesome bunkbed that seemed like it was a perfect match for what we were needing! It was a tad bit of an adjustment, but after just a few days, the girls are doing great with it! Daniel worked hard on getting it put together and it looks great! The girls have had too much fun with this new "toy". Haha! LOTS of fun pics to prove it!
The girls in their new bed! Kristi is on top, Emily is on the left side and Kayla is on the right.

Fun visit with the grandparents!
We had some visitors this week! Grandpa Cody and Grandma Connie came to visit us today. Lots of laughs, light saber fights, and Daniel's Birthday.
I wish that we would have gotten lots more pictures of the fun visit, and now that I'm writing, some ideas are coming to mind of ones that I REALLY wish I would have gotten! I can write the fun times instead:
We started off the weekend with going to a Surprise 80th Birthday party for Mamaw! It was great! We were able to catch up with nearly the whole family and the kiddos even had lots of fun with each other. They were exhausting to watch as they marched around the outside of the room about a billion times, ran and jumped off of stairs, then went around for some more. I bet I lost 5 pounds just watching them! TOO much energy, but so fun to watch!
For Daniel's Birthday, Cody and Daniel went out for Breakfast, while Connie, the girls, and I ran to the store for a few extra things to go with our plans. After a bit, the guys came back to Darth Vader answering the door, 3D decor, Carrotcake, and LOTS of light saber fights! (I DO have lots of pictures of that, quite hilarious if you ask me, but the acting participants asked for them to be kept undisclosed! haha!) I dunno, maybe I can bribe to get to post ONE! ; p It was awesome!
Ahh fun times, fun times!

Dress up time and our new friend
Sorry about so many pictures lately on the catch-up updates. Some days will have more pictures and some days more story than pictures. We had a great week this week!
Here is our new friend! He is a beta fish and the name changes daily, so not really sure what it is today. : o ) Emily telling me about the new "fishy".
Curiosity killed the cat, sure hope it doesn't kill the fish, lol. (she's standing on a tricycle to look over the half-wall) Notice fishy watching Emily REAL close, lol.

Mommy says that since it is my birthday and I am FIVE now, I can tell you about my day! I had so much fun on my Birthday! Mommy says that she doesn't have all my pictures, so I can't show you all the fun we had, but Nana, G.G., and our friend Khy came over to share this special day with me!
Here I am blowing out my candles, there were so many! We had lots of yummy cupcakes!
Mommy and Nana took a picture of me and my sisters, Kayla and Emily.
Look at daddy! He is riding my new bicycle! Mommy said he looks cute, but daddy doesn't like the "C" word, so on here I have to say handsome! I still think he looks silly, hehe!
