We spotted this little guy in the bears exhibit, I think he was begging to be taken out, he was fixing to jump into the moat that went around the whole thing.
Elephants! At one point we were behind that fence fixing to take a picture with the elephant statue, well there were a couple of elephants behind it and one made a LOUD noise with its trunk. All three girls screamed bloody murder and two ran in different directions, while Emily froze in her spot still screaming but looking at the statue as if it were the one that made the noise!! LOL!! Poor kiddo! 
This big guy was watching us and seemed friendly. Check out the claws!
Of course we had to go visit the horses! Kristi wouldn't let us go without. : o )

Long, but wonderful day at the zoo and trip back home. I will post other family pictures from the trip whenever I get them. PLUS, there is a surprise picture post that will be coming soon! (within next few weeks)
